Gardaí investigating the stabbing of Dublin footballer, Jonny Cooper, say they're examining CCTV footage in an effort to identify his attacker.
The 24 year old was stabbed with a blade in the face, back and neck on Dorset Street in Dublin city centre in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He was rushed to the Mater Hospital for treatment - but has since been discharged.
Stephen Breen is the Irish Sun's Investigations Editor. He says the attacker stole Mr Cooper's wallet after stabbing him.
