An Irish Man Remains In A Coma After Sydney Assault

A Cork man is in an induced coma in a Sydney hospital after suffering serious injuries in an alleged assault.

Jason Cierans was found unconscious outside a pub - in the suburb of Bondi Junction - at about 1am local time on Saturday.

The 29 year old has been placed in a coma by doctors due to the serious nature of his condition.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident by Australian Police.
