SIPTU say that the ambulance service needs 50 million euro worth of investment to bring it up to scratch.
The union is calling on the Minister for Health to publish the HSE national ambulance review - which he's had a summary of since December 2014.
Ambulance service SIPTU members will meet over the coming month to consider strike action to secure publication of the review.
