A man in his 40's was stopped and questioned at Dublin Port yesterday while he was attempting to board a ferry to Holyhead with a large amount of cash.
Revenue said that as a result of an intelligence-led operation they seized 168-thousand euro from the Irish man.
The man was granted a three month detention order in the Criminal Courts so Revenue could carry out further investigations.
