More than 200 jobs are to be created with the launch of three new Aer Lingus routes to the US.
It says direct transatlantic flights will operate from Dublin to Los Angeles, Newark and Hartford in Connecticut from next year.
It's the first major announcement from the carrier since it was taken over by British Airways owner IAG.
IAG's Willie Walsh believes the announcement proves the instant impact of the sale of Aer Lingus, saying "these three new destinations reflect the ambition of Aer Lingus, but supported by IAG".
