A drug addict who robbed a mother out walking her baby in a buggy has been jailed for three years.
Jamie O'Hara was on bail when he carried out the attack at a park in Tallaght in September 2014.
The 20-year-old from Killinarden Estate tried to grab Lisa Warren's bag, which was strapped around the buggy her four-month-old baby was sitting in.
When he discovered just nappies in the bag, O'Hara demanded his victim hand over her mobile phone saying ""that's a f*****g Nokia" and unsuccessfully attempting to unlock it.
O'Hara then asked his victim to promise she had told him the correct code, saying "swear on the kids or I'll hurt you. I'll f*****g kill you". He then cycled off and told her not to contact gardai.
Lisa Warren said she was extremely anxious and frightened during the attack, cried for days afterwards and suffered panic attacks.
O'Hara, who was on bail at the time for two other offences committed earlier that year, was today jailed for four years.
