Local police say at least 1,100 people are now confirmed dead after an earthquake in Nepal.
The magnitude 7.9 tremor caused extensive damage - bringing down buildings in the capital Kathmandu.
The quake also triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, killing at least 10 climbers.
