There's been a call for more funding for child and adolescent mental health services, after it emerged that 83 children have been put into adult psychiatric units despite stated guidelines forbidding it.
Fianna Fail's spokesperson on children, Deputy Robert Troy described it as a damning indictment of our child protection system.
He said it's a reminder that children are still being failed today.
