Six hundred new jobs have been announced at two separate companies.
PricewaterhouseCoopers is to recruit more than 500 people in Dublin next year.
The international professional services firm says that number is made up of 300 graduate positions and 200 posts for more senior professional staff.
The jobs at PwC, which employs more than 3-thousand people in Ireland, will be in assurance, technology, digital, data analytics and cybersecurity.

Meanwhile Microsoft is hiring 100 professionals and graduates for its operations in Dublin, along with 60 interns.
