More than 50 firefighters are tackling a blaze near the Red Cow this lunchtime.
The alarm was raised at around a quarter past ten at the 'Store It' industrial unit at Ballymount Industrial Estate.
Dublin City Fire Brigade says 7 fire engines are attending the scene, as well as a hydraulic platform and a turntable ladder.
An incident command unit and an ambulance are also there.
Fire crews are using breathing apparatus in the operation which is ongoing, and the unit has been evacuated.
There are no reports of any injuries.
