45 Dublin Families Lost Their Homes In September

Over 350 families have become homeless so far this year in Dublin - which means at least 10 children have lost their family home every week in 2014.

As a result Focus Ireland are calling on the Government to invest €500 million in the upcoming budget to help tackle Ireland's growing homeless and affordable housing crisis.

The charity made the call as it published new figures which show 45 families became homeless in Dublin alone in September.
