A 42 year old man has died after he lost control of his motorcycle in Aughrim in Co. Wicklow this morning.
Gardaí are investigating the single vehicle collision which occurred at Cronebeg just after midnight.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to St. Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown where a post mortem will take place.
The road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
