An ambitious new transport plan wants 4 new Luas lines and a metro link to south side as part of a long term strategy to deal with congestion in the city.
This 10 billion euro plan by the National Transport Authority between now and 2035 aim to build new Luas lines to Finglas, Lucan, Bray and Poolbeg.
It's also calling for a high capacity metro line in the south of the city to Bride's Glen and linking with metro north.
It's also proposing on street car parking spaces to be reduced and high capacity bus corridors to be developed while building more park and rise facilities and luas stations.
