3 Men Arrested Over €2 Million Drug Seizure In Blanchardstown

Three men remain in custody this morning following a €2 million drugs seizure in Blanchardstown.

The discovery was made when two cars were stopped by Gardaí in the area of Dublin 15 shortly after 5pm on Thursday evening.

A house in the area was also searched by Gardaí.

During the course of the operation, cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, ecstasy tablets and cannabis jellies with an estimated street value of €2 million were found.

Three men aged 35, 40 and 53 were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and are being held at garda station in Dublin.

This latest seizure was as a result of ongoing intelligence led investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation Tara and the drugs will be analysed by Forensic Science Ireland.

Investigations are ongoing.
