225 people trying to cross the Mediterranean in two inflatable boats have been rescued by Irish naval crews.
The latest migrants to be found in distress - including 12 children - were picked up off Libya.
The rescue operation by the LE. Niamh lasted more than nine hours.
It brings to nearly 2,000, the number of people rescued by the crew during their mission in the Mediterranean.
