Around 500 guests were evacuated from a top London hotel last night after a gas explosion in the basement caused part of the building to collapse, injuring 14 people.
The blast happened at the Hyatt Regency -The Churchill in Portman Square, at around 11-40pm.
Around 80 firefighters were on the scene at the height of the incident, and two men with leg wounds were taken to hospital.
The hotel says no guests were injured.
