At least 10 million euro needs to be invested in secure bicycle parking in the city.
Over 14,000 people cycle to school to work every day - and Dublin City Council want to see that go up to 47,000 by 2020, according to the Irish Times.
A new report commissioned by the National Transport Authority and the Council shows there's just over 4,500 spaces at the moment - they say this needs to go up to 16,000.
The reports shows high density spots are needed - which could hold up to 200 bikes. It's identified several vacant spots around the city that could be used, including ones near Tara Street Dart station, Burgh Quay, O'Connell Street, Connolly station, and Camden Street.
Drury Street car park currently has space for up to 190 bike spaces, but the report wants to see that go up to 400.
