Why must they hurt us with these rumours 😢
Rumours have been flying that One Direction were going to be getting back together for the first time since their split, as part of James Corden's grand finale of his US chat show.
The Instagram account dedicated to celebrity-spotting Deux Moi reported the rumour and ever since it's been spreading like wildfire on social media.
However the team behind The Late Late Show had to come out and put a stop the false rumours.

So the boys won't be reuniting for the first time since 2015 (yes, that is how long it's been!) to honour James Corden's time presenting The Late Late Show - not yet anyway.
However James Corden's last ever episode of his US chat show is still going to star-studded - he even managed to rope Tom Cruise into it!
James Corden announced earlier this month that he'd be finishing up The Late Late Show soon, saying that it was "a really hard decision".
"I always thought I'd do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on. I've really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure."
Taking about what the final episode is going to be like, he said:
"My intention is to try and go out in exactly the same way we came in, which is just going out with a bang," he concluded.
