Irish talent continues to dominate the music industry! 🎵
3 Irish artists have been nominated for Ivor Novello awards.
The awards, which have been on the go since 1956, specifically recognise the work of songwriters and composers across Britain and Ireland.
The nominations for the prestigious awards were announced on Tuesday during a ceremony in London, and it was great to see some homegrown talent make the list!

Dunboyne singer CMAT and Dublin band Lankum are both up Best Album. With 5 nominees in each category, that's a 20% chance of an Irish win!
And arguably the song of 2023, Jazzy's hit Giving Me, is in the running for "Most Performed Work Of The Year", a category which acknowledges commercial success. The song was co-written by Conor Bissett and Robert Griffiths, better known as Irish dance act Belters Only.
This follows CMAT and Jazzy being nominated for BRIT Awards earlier this year.
The winners of the Ivor Novello Awards will be announced at a ceremony held at Grosvenor House in London on 23 May.
