Dirty Dancing
Jon Feltheimer, CEO of Lionsgate, has confirmed a new Dirty Dancing movie is on the way.
He told Deadline a little about “one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood”.
Fans will be thrilled to hear the Jennifer Grey, who played Baby in the original, is returning.
She'll starring in the story and acting as executive producer.
Although Feltheimer is keeping quiet about the plot, he told Deadline: “It will be exactly the kind of romantic, nostalgic movie that the franchise’s fans have been waiting for and that have made it the biggest-selling library title in the Company’s history."
Dirty Dancing was released in 1987. It won an Oscar and Golden Globe for the song I've Had The Time Of My Life.
