Martine McCutcheon has been chatting about the highly anticipated Love Actually sequel.

Hugh Grant played the Prime Minister in the 2003 romantic comedy, while Martine played his assistant.

Speaking on Loose Women, the actress revealed the pair will be filming scenes over the coming weeks for the Comic Relief special.

"Lots of people are back in the cast and as far as I know, I'm hoping me and Hugh are still together because apparently we're filming together.

"I really hope they've had a couple of kids and I'd love him to still be doing his silly dancing, and for him still to be in Downing Street", she said.

"I’m hoping the magic of it all comes back for something so lovely."

Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson and Bill Nighy will also appear in the update, which will be penned by the movie's writer Richard Curtis.

The 10-minute skit - which will be shown on the BBC in March for Comic Relief - will focus on what their characters are up to now.
