Song of the Sea is an enchanting new film from the Academy Award-nominated director Tomm Moore and stars Moone Boy's David Rawle.

It tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse, the last Seal-child, who embark on a journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea. The film takes inspiration from the mythological Selkies of Irish folklore, who live as seals in the sea but become humans on land.

There are loads of recognisable voices, such as Brendan Gleeson, Fionnula Flanagan, David Rawle, Lisa Hannigan, Pat Shortt and Jon Kenny.

Laura Holland got to sit down with the director and also David Rawle (aka Moone Boy), who voices the main character Ben.

It hits cinemas June 10th. It's one for all the family.
