Conversations With Friends
Sally Rooney's debut novel Conversations With Friends is coming to TV!
Following on from the global success of Normal People, the adaptation of the Irish author's first book will air on BBC One, RTÉ and Hulu next year.
And today we got a first look at the cast!
Sasha Lane
The story details the relationships between friends and exes Frances and Bobbi and married couple Melissa and Nick.
Alison Oliver, an emerging talent from Lir Academy, will play Frances.
Jemima Kirke
While Sasha Lane (American Honey, The Miseducation of Cameron Post) will star as Bobbi.
Joe Alwyn (The Favourite, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk) as Nick and Jemima Kirke (Sex Education, Girls) as Melissa.

Element Pictures will once again work with director Lenny Abrahamson and writer Alice Birch.
The plan is to deliver a 12-episode season in 2022.
