The Government has revealed where Dublin's COVID-19 vaccination centres will be located.

There will be four sites in total - the Aviva Stadium, Citywest Convention Centre, Helix Theatre at DCU, and the TU Dublin Campus in Grangegorman.

They're among 37 centres which will be set up across the country, with each county to have at least one centre.

When the vaccine programme is rolled out to the wider community, people will be able to register online for an appointment at one of the sites.

The Government says the centres will be "of different sizes and operating hours will be based on vaccine supply and catchment area need".

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly said: "People can expect to see these vaccination centres ready and waiting in their county.

"In the coming months supply will increase substantially and we will see these centres operating to full capacity and administering vaccines to the general population, following the Government priority list.”

The announcement comes as people aged over 85s are due to start receiving their vaccines from today.
