It may be mid-October, but some mild weather is forecast over the coming days. Temperatures are set to hit the high teens this weekend, according to Met Eireann.
The forecaster says:
Thursday
Will start off dry & bright with good sunshine. Patches of rain will develop across the day and become more persistent Thursday night. Expect highs of 15 to 16 degrees.
Friday
Will start off with occasional rain, mixed with dry periods. Southwesterly winds will ease later in the day, while bringing temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees.
Saturday
Will be mainly dry with any morning rain clearing by midday, with sunshine spells breaking through. Saturday is set to be rather warm with highs of 16 to 19 degrees.
