Dunnes Stores Introduces Priority Shopping For The Elderly.

Dunnes Stores are introducing priority shopping for the elderly between 11am and 1pm.

The Irish supermarket chain posted the notice on their social media earlier today.

The introduction is in response to the high volume of customer traffic in the mornings.

This will allow the elderly to shop without long wait times. The addition of ''designated checkouts and dedicated staff'' during these hours will aid elderly customers in grocery shopping.

Dunnes have asked customers with children to 'avoid' shopping at their stores between 11am and 1pm.

This measure is to protect our most vulnerable citizens.

The post finishes with ''Let's all work together to keep each other safe''.
