Bressie has launched a brand new podcast series. The multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter and mental health activist has released the six-part series on all podcast platforms.

'Where is my Mind' will guide listeners on how to navigate the manic, always-on and head-melting world they find themselves in today.

Niall will talk about what impact today’s society has on individuals, discussing a variety of coping techniques on how to deal with the overstimulated mindset people find themselves in by introducing the basics of mindfulness practice and meditation.

Each podcast episode will enable listeners to learn the skills to help with breaking that autopilot mode, how to navigate constant distraction, how to be a more skillful stress-head and even how to get good at Jenga!

So, after the last few years studying and getting my head around my head, culture , society our environment etc...I have spent the last number of months working on my new podcast which will be released this Monday 15th July produced by the amazing @ciaraoconnorwalsh on the @acastuk platform called “Where is my mind?”. The podcast is a six part series that aims to bring the listener through a journey to help them develop better skills to deal with the chaos of the modern world. There will also be a 6 week mindfulness programme attached to help the audience build the skill of mindfulness. It’s been one of the most educational and creative projects I have ever worked on and I sincerely hope it can give some insight into how our internal and external worlds are influencing each other. I started noticing that a lot of resources out there for people trying to navigate stress were all about the person themselves. What they're doing or not doing. But actually, that misses a huge amount of context. There's a collective humanity here in how we all experience the stresses of the world. There are so many shared cultural and political anxieties. There are inequalities, challenges with modern life that many of us experience. Just saying "have you tried mindfulness?“ to someone who can't afford the rent or just lost their partner isn't good enough. And it's so important to shed a light on these contexts, too, we're not alone in this. We all share a lot of the same issues and insecurities. And to ask: are there practical things we can all do to lessen the impact of the lightning fast, high pressure world on our ability to be able to sleep soundly at night? For me the podcast platform is the best most intimate way to explore this context in more detail and perhaps support people in the internal and external difficulties they will inevitably face in their lives.
