Gardaí in Dublin 4 seized ketamine and MDMA at what's believed to be a make shift rave.

Officers received a call in the early hours of Monday morning reporting a woman had become ill after taking ketamine.

When they arrived in Donnybrook they found dozens of people at a rave, with a DJ booth and bar, and a €15 entrance fee.

Gardaí say it was in breach of all health and fire safety regulations.

Gardai say: "The party (rave) is over: March edition.

"In the early hours of Monday morning, Gardaí in Donnybrook received a call on radio that a woman had taken ill after taking ketamine at an address in Dublin 4.
"When they arrived to the scene there were dozens of people raving away - makeshift DJ booth, bar and all - having paid €15 each to attend.
"The place was quite obviously in breach of all health and fire safety regulations, and we cleared it right away.
We discovered quantities of ketamine, MDMA, acid and Alprazolam tablets (Xanax), and our enquiries are ongoing in co-ordination with Dublin Fire Brigade.
"Luckily, the woman that had become unwell has now fully recovered.
"Better again, we weren't called to respond to much worse."
