Gardai are investigating after the discovery of human remains on Lambay Island, off the coast of Dublin.
The discovery was made on Thursday evening by staff working on the island.
The remains have since been removed to the Dublin City Morgue where a post-mortem's to take place.
Gardai say the results will assist in identifying the deceased and the course of their investigation.
