A man has been found dead in Dublin City Centre.
Gardaí in Pearse Street say the man's body was found on St. Andrew's Street in Dublin 2 in the early hours of this morning.
The scene has been preserved and an investigation is underway.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí in Pearse Street were alerted to the body of a male discovered in the early hours of this morning Tuesday 9th January, 2024 on St. Andrew's Street, Dublin 2.
"The scene has been preserved and investigations are ongoing."
