Drop In Number Of People Attending Sexual Assault Treatment Centres In Dublin

There's been a drop in the number of people attending sexual assault treatment centres in Dublin.

However, nationwide the number of people treated increased by nearly 10 per cent last year.

In 2017, there were 865 presentations at Ireland's six facilities - but this increased to 941 last year.

In Dublin, 327 people attended the unit at the Rotunda Hospital in 2017.

That figure fell to 319 last year.
