There's a call on the Garda Commissioner and Justice Minister to urgently visit the northside, where three men were gunned down.

Iranian man Hamid Sanambar,  who was in his early 40s,  was shot in Coolock at around half three yesterday afternoon.

It comes less than a week after two friends in their 20's - Seán Little and Jordan Davis - were shot dead within 24 hours of one another.

Gardaí believe yesterday's incident was linked to Mr. Little's murder.

Speaking from the scene, Independent councillor John Lyons says " you know, three young lives have been taken, there seems to be some kind of a feud going on related to drugs. So we're asking that the Garda Commissioner, Drew Harris and Charlie Flanagan, the Minister for Justice come to the area, speak to the people in the area, tell them what the plan is, what's the strategy, listen to the people, listen to their concerns, because right now, nobody I believe in this area feels like they're safe".
