Spice Girls are marking 20 years since the release of Wannabe this summer and fans are hoping to see them reunite for a tour.
But hopes of a reunion may have been dashed after Mel C reportedly dropped out of talks. According to The Sun, Sporty Spice wants to focus on "a more serious music career".
A source said: "Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career.
"She loves the girls but it just didn't feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.
"She has other priorities and obviously it was a bit of a problem that Victoria made it clear she wasn't going to be part of the reunion."
It was previously reported that Victoria Beckham had said she did not want to be involved with a reunion.
But all hope is not lost. The Sun are reporting the Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell are still keen on marking the milestone. The trio will reportedly enter fresh talks for some kind of tour.
