The first couple of Love Island 2022 have announced their split!
The news broke yesterday evening when Gemma posted a statement on her Instagram story announcing that the pair had gone their separate ways.
A couple of hours later Luca posted his own statement and let's just say... he doesn't sound too pleased.
Reading between the lines, I think we can safely assume that the decision to break up wasn't that mutual, and that Luca wasn't expecting Gemma to announce it so quickly!

While Luca and Gemma are the first of the Love Island 'Final 4' couples this year to break up, now we can start to wonder how much longer the rest of them will last.
The other 3 final couples were winners Ekin-Su & Davide, Tasha & Andrew and Indiyah & Dami.
Will they continue to keep going strong? Only time will tell!
