Love Island's Dr Alex 'Quite Emotional' Following Covid Vaccination

Love Island star Dr. Alex George has received the covid-19 vaccination.

Currently working as an Emergency Department doctor in the UK, Alex took to Instagram to share the news with fans.

He began by saying he felt 'quite emotional' following the jab after what has certainly been a hard year.

Despite working on the frontline, the healthcare professional lost his younger brother to suicide in July.

Alex continued, 'I am so glad there is light at the end of the tunnel. Huge thanks to Chris, one of the hospital pharmacists, for giving me the injection and to everyone working so hard to roll this out. It was a quick jab then back to work for me!'

The doctor has been keeping his followers up to date on all things covid-related.

Last week he warned his fans that 'things are pretty rough at the moment... At least as bad as March in the hospital.'
