Ed Sheeran has deleted his Twitter account. It comes just a day after his Game of Thrones cameo aired with mixed reviews.
Some outlets are speculating the singer decided to delete his account after receiving negative comments about his guest role on the hit show.
Earlier this month The Sun newspaper reported that Ed had quit the social media platform. He was quoted saying:
"I go on it and there's nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter's a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that's why I've come off it."
However, the next day Ed took to Instagram to backtrack, posting: "I haven't quit anything, I'm just not reading anything, except Harry Potter."
Ed seems to be in good spirits this week. He posted a cute snap on Instagram of him and his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn climbing a mountain yesterday.
