Coldplay brought their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour to Dublin on Saturday night. Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Gerry Berryman and Will Champion filled Croke Park with colourful balloons, fireworks and rainbow confetti as they played their biggest hits to over 80,000 fans.

The band have been enjoying a few days off in the city ahead of their next gig, which takes place tonight in Cardiff.

Lead singer Chris spent some time at a gym in Walkinstown yesterday with Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh.

John shared a puntastic post on his Facebook page last night about Chris' visit to Straight Blast Gym on the Naas Road.

"Had Chris In My Place today. It went Something Just Like This. He said the mats were too Yellow so trained in the ring. I thought I was in Trouble when he hit me at the Speed of Sound. I almost saw a Sky Full of Stars. I said relax mate I am The Scientist, Don't Panic I will Fix You. Sadly we checked the Clocks and he had to leave. It was an Adventure of a Lifetime. Just another day in Paradise."

On Saturday night, Coldplay paid an emotional tribute to an Irish fan who was meant to be at their Croke Park show but sadly passed away months before the gig.

The band dedicated 'Sky Full Of Stars' to Susan Valentine, who died last November, after her friend Jamie Kelly met Chris Martin on O'Connell Street. You can read more on that story here
