The BBC has confirmed that Broadcaster Terry Wogan has passed away at the age of 77 from cancer.
He was an Irish radio and television broadcaster who started out in RTE and later worked for the BBC for most of his career. He is best known for his weekday breakfast show Wake Up to Wogan on BBC Radio 2.
He passed away earlier today surrounded by his family.
