National Holocaust Memorial Day Marked In Dublin

The organisers of today's National Holocaust Commemorations have criticised the Irish Government's response to the crisis.

Ireland's Holocaust Education Trust says our country turned away many Jewish families who sought refuge here in the 1940s.

Tomorrow it will be 69 years since Russian soldiers liberated the prisoners of the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp.

To mark the occasion the Justice Minister will speak to victims groups at Dublin's Mansion House this evening, including several survivors.
