A Dublin teenager who was due to stand trial in Egypt this afternoon, has had his case delayed again after the judge walked out.

Ibrahim Halawa from Firhouse was arrested in Cairo a year ago, after taking part in a protest while on holiday.

Cairo's Tahrir Square, the scene of protests during political upheaval in 2013.

He faces the death penalty after being charged with a string of offences including membership of a terrorist group and murder.

His three sisters were arrested at the same time but were freed three months later and have since returned to Ireland.

Nusayba Halawa says there's no point in the Irish government calling for a fair trial, because her brother won't get one.
