A group representing Dublin businesses is calling for tougher measures to tackle begging.

Dublin Town - which is made up of 2,500 employers - says the laws in place are not enough.

The organisation also wants more resources for city centre Gardai to help target drug use.

Richard Guiney - the Chief Executive of Dublin Town - says organised begging is now the single biggest anti-social issue in the city:
