The biggest secret in Hollywood perhaps, Oscar nominated actress Laura Linney has had her first child on the eve of her 50th birthday.
The Kinsey and Love Actually star and her husband kept mum about the pregnancy and only revealed the news after the birth.
Linney's spokesperson said in a statement "Mother and baby are happy and healthy".
The actress named her son Bennett and has ignored heavy criticism over her age.
