75% Of Doctors See Bullying As A Serious Issue In Irish Medicine

Three-quarters of doctors believe that bullying is a serious issue in Irish medicine.

That's according to a new survey, the results of which have been presented today in Dublin, at an IMO conference on gender equality.

The survey reveals that 43 per cent of doctors experienced bullying by another colleague.

Dr. Ina Kelly, former president of the IMO, says that can have a huge impact on people's mental health:
