The big night is finally here.  Craig David plays The Wright Venue in Swords tonight. He’s made a serious comeback over the last few months after releasing new music, performing at The X Factor live final and creating an amazing Justin Bieber’s cover in the BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge.

Here are some of the reasons why we adore Craig David...

THAT Justin Bieber Cover

We were blown away Craig’s rendition of Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself in the BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge in January. He put his own garage-style spin on the track and even included a rap verse. The video has been viewed over 3.4 million times on YouTube - proving that Craig’s renaissance is well and truly underway.

Craig previously performed a mash-up of his his Fill Me In and Bieber's Where Are U Now back in September.

His Latest Track Is An Absolute TUNE!

Craig has teamed up with Big Narstie for his latest track When The Bassline Drops, which is an absolute belter! His new album is due out later this year.

The Nostalgia Factor

Craig David first found fame in the late 90s, early Noughties. His songs –especially those from his album Born To Do It –were SO catchy. When you hear them again, you can’t help but know the words.

His Performance At The X Factor Live Final

This year’s X Factor finalists Reggie ‘N’ Bollie teamed up with Fuse ODG to perform his track Dangerous Love at the X Factor Live Final back in December. The crowd went wild (along with us on our couches) when Craig came joined them on stage to perform his track Rewind along with a special rap.

Craig Could Be Teaming Up With Cheryl

Craig is hoping to work with Cheryl Fernandez Versini. Speaking to Mirror Online at the Brit Awards this week, he revealed he would love to work with her.

"As a song writer, I'd love to write a song for Cheryl - if she's ready?

"I know as an artist she can sing anything, so if I could write a garage song with her, I know we'd smash it out of the park."

Craig Is Great Craic

Craig was at the Brits to present an award with Fleur East – but it was his after party that got everyone talking.

He performed some of his tracks at the #BeatsREDO party at the 100 club.

So if you're heading to see Craig David at The Wright Venue tonight, it looks like it's going to be one amazing gig.
