Looking for something to do this weekend? There are plenty of cool events on in the city over the coming days.

We've teamed up with Dublin Gazette to bring you the best of what's on in Dublin.

Gok Wan @ The George - Friday

The Wan and only fashionista will be at The George this Friday, April 20, where the celebrity stylist takes to the DJ decks for one night only. The British star of How To Look Good Naked will be playing a selection of tunes alongside regular DJs Devina Devine and Mo. Gok will be on the decks from 11pm onward in the busy gay bar as part of its Glitter Bomb night. Admission is €10 and can be paid on the door after 10pm.

Visit the reopened O’Connell Tower @ Glasnevin Cemetery

The O’Connell Tower at Glasnevin Cemetery Museum was officially reopened last week, concluding a remarkable restoration process of one of the city’s most striking views.

Visitors to Glasnevin Cemetery can now climb the newly installed staircase within the tower and enjoy a truly unique and spectacular view of Dublin not seen since 1971.

The top of the O’Connell Tower provides a 360-degree panorama affording breath-taking views to the north, south, east and west across all of Dublin, Meath, Wicklow and the Irish Sea.

Admission is by ticket only, with a range of admission prices available.

Leinster v Scarlets @ The Aviva Stadium - Saturday

Leinster take on Welsh side Scarlets in the semi-final of the European Champions Cup this Saturday. Leinster claimed home advantage after beating Saracens 30-19 in the quarter-final on Easter Sunday at the Aviva Stadium and with the prospect of final tie against rivals Munster in store, Saturday is sure to be a cracking game.

Brian Ferry at the Olympia – Saturday

There’s a Ferry good gig ahead (sorry) for those catching the now classic crooner. To call the former Roxy Music frontman’s solo career prolific would be an understatement, with a massive bank of songs to draw upon for his show.

Let's Go Crazy - Prince Night @ The Bernard Shaw - Saturday

A celebration of Prince is taking place on Saturday night in The Bernard Shaw. Fans of the iconic singer are urged to wear purple to the event which will have sets from Sheikh Minnetonka / Plu_Perfect, A-Leen and Bodytonic DJs and more. Purple cocktails will also be served. Find out more here

Mercury Rev @ Whelan’s – Sunday

Unquestionably one of the best atmospheric, cult soft-rock bands of the last twenty years, Mercury Rev only occasionally stuck their head above the parapet, but they have countless great tunes.

Sumo Run Ireland @ Marlay Park - Sunday

Sumo Run Ireland is a fun charity event which sees participants wear inflatable sumo suits on a 5km route in aid of Purple House Cancer Support.

NCAD exhibition @ Gallery Zozimus

A collection of works from glass and ceramics students at NCAD are on display until April 22. Conscious Makers: Evolution has been put together by a number of postgraduate and undergraduate students from the art college. A number of glass and ceramics works will be on display at the free event, taking place in Gallery Zozimus, Francis Street.
