The Snapper Is Being Turned Into A Play

The Snapper is being made into a play. The story by Roddy Doyle of a young Dublin woman who becomes pregnant was turned into a movie in 1993.

The stage adaptation will be shown in The Gate Theatre from 14th June to 1st September 2018. 

Simon Delaney takes on the role of the iconic Dessie Curley while the rest of the cast will include Hilda Fay, Kate Gilmore, Simon O’Gorman and Amilia Stewart.
