The 96th annual Liffey Swim takes place in Dublin today.
Almost 400 swimmers are set to take part in the gruelling 2.2 kilometre swim from Rory O'More Bridge beside the Guinness brewery, as far as Custom House Quay from half past two this afternoon.
The race will feature competitors of all ages, and swimmers from 15 countries.
