David Attenborough is releasing a new album this Friday and a social media campaign is planned to get it to number one for Christmas.
The album features musical field recordings from the broadcaster's earlier career, with David Attenborough speaking alongside the tracks.
It's a double CD album and the lead single was recorded in Paraguay with native musicians.
The Sun are reporting that a label insider said “We’re going to start a campaign: David Attenborough for Christmas Number 1.”
‘La Llegada’ (the Arrival)' is expected to be aired today, Wednesday 21st, with the album launching on Friday.
