After a few weeks of glorious sunshine, the rain is set to return this week. According to Met Eireann, some showers are forecast over the coming days across the country. However, the warm weather will remain.

Tonight will be dry and clear with lows of 9 and 12 degrees.

Mostly dry with hazy sunshine and the risk of the odd shower in the afternoon or evening. Highs of 19-23 degrees.
Rain is forcast on Tuesday night in the north, west and southeast. It will be a mild and humid night with temperatures ranging between 12 and 15 degrees.
Wednesday
Wednesday will start cloudy with scattered showers. Good sunny spells will develop in the afternoon. Highs of 18 to 23 degrees.
Thursday
Mostly dry with sunny spells and a few showers. Temperatures will be in the low twenties.
Friday & Saturday
Sunny spells and scattered showers are forecast on Saturday. Top temperatures will be in the low to mid twenties.
