Dublin Simon Community have launched their 37th annual Simon Home Run.

The 5 mile (8k) run will take place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday 7th of March.

Everyone can take part, whether you're a walker or a jogger.

There'll also be lots of family fun on the day with entertainment and novelty prizes like fastest buggy across the line.

Plus, each registered runner will also be in with a chance to win a €1,000 cash prize!

Leinster and Ireland Rugby Player Ross Byrne was on hand to launch the event, saying:

“I am proud to be back on board for a third year as an Ambassador for the Simon Home Run. We are all painfully aware that homelessness in Ireland has reached crisis point and I would encourage as many people as possible to register for this year’s race to help thousands of vulnerable people and families close the door on homelessness for good.”

It's a great day out for colleagues, students and families alike.
